Conditions of entry for the AvD Masters
The AvD Masters 2019 is a virtual racing competition, staged by the Automobilclub von Deutschland e.V. (in the following referred to as AvD e.V.) and taking place on the Steam-based “RaceRoom Racing Experience” racing simulation. It consists of a leaderboard competition (time attack mode) held online, which starts on the 26th of August 2019 and ends on the 9th of September 2019, and a live final at the IAA (Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung) in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, on Saturday, 21st of September 2019. The top 20 drivers of the leaderboard competition qualify for the event, where multiple races with GT3 cars will be run on equal RaceRoom simulators, and prize money (exact prize pool and split yet to be confirmed) will be paid out.

It is possible for all people all over the world to enter the AvD Masters 2019. All entrants must be at least 14 years on the 21.09.2019 or before, and must be willing to travel to the IAA in Frankfurt for the final event, covering the costs of travel and accommodation themselves. Drivers with a current ban for entering RaceRoom Competitions are not allowed to enter.

The top 20 drivers of the online competition win the invitation to join the final event as a player, and a ticket for the IAA for Saturday, 21st of September 2019, which will be sent via e-mail after you have confirmed your place.
There will be cash prizes for the best players in the final live event at the IAA.

Cash prizes from sports competitions in Germany are generally taxable. It is the responsibility of the winners to take care of it. If you have your permanent residence outside Germany, for any winnings over 250€, taxes apply according to §50a EStG. The tax is 30%, plus an additional 5,5% solidarity surcharge on the tax. Therefore, the sum that is paid out is reduced.

The track limits are set according to the RaceRoom ingame rules, but in the case of a driver skipping entire corners or sections of the track, RaceRoom Entertainment GmbH reserves the right to disqualify the player.
The top 20 players receive their e-mail invitation on Monday, 09.09., directly after noon. They have time until Wednesday 11.09., 10:00 AM GMT, to confirm or decline their spot.
If not all drivers confirm, the drivers from P21 onwards will be contacted on Wednesday, 11.09., directly after noon. They have time to confirm or decline until Thursday, 12.09., 10:00 AM GMT.
Confirmations are binding. If you confirm, we expect you to be there.

The final event takes place at the IAA (Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung) in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, on Saturday, 21th of September 2019.
The exact location is: Halle 4.0 (IAA Heritage by Motorworld), Stand E26. A location plan will be provided in the invitation mail.
Players are expected to be there at 10:00 CEST for the meeting and briefing (Mandatory).
All races will be scheduled to finish until 18:00 CEST, with the event including winner celebration scheduled to finish before 19:00 CEST.
Contestants will race on RaceRoom simulators, equipped with Fanatec wheels and pedals (CSL pedals, V 2.5 wheelbase, CSL P1 wheel). Accessing the controller settings or car settings ingame is not possible. The car setup is fixed, with only brake bias adjustable via the steering wheel. Wheels are set to the default profile of the event version, with MinForce set to 0. Since we run the event build, small handling and feeling differences to the online version of the game are to be expected.
The final will consist of multiple short races in a tournament style format, run with the GTR3 cars on Hockenheim, Imola, Laguna Seca and Autodrom Most. The exact race format and tournament format will be communicated at a later stage, as well as the rules for the car selection.

The winners agree that their names will be announced in a press release published through the channels of AvD e.V. and RaceRoom Entertainment GmbH.
The winners agree, that AvD e.V. and RaceRoom Entertainment GmbH respectively their business partners within the finale of the AvD Masters 2019 make and broadcast photographs and movie recordings (e.g. internet stream), on which the winners are identifiable as well as statements, interviews and similar captured on audio and video. AvD e.V. and RaceRoom Entertainment GmbH are entitled to use these recordings.
All personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the statutory provisions governing data protection in Germany. Only the personal data that is required to handle the competition and prize is collected and forwarded onto partners of RaceRoom Entertainment GmbH. All employees and partners of RaceRoom Entertainment GmbH are obliged by RaceRoom Entertainment GmbH to maintain data secrecy. Data is only transferred to state agencies or authorities within the framework of legal regulations. The participant agrees to this. The data is deleted after the competition has been carried out.
AvD e.V. and RaceRoom Entertainment GmbH have the right to terminate or cancel the Competition at its discretion at any time. No claims can be derived from any premature termination.
AvD e.V. and RaceRoom Entertainment GmbH have the right to exclude one or more participants from taking part in the competition in the event of any manipulations or attempted or suspected manipulation.
AvD e.V. and RaceRoom Entertainment GmbH explicitly reserve the right to amend or modify these conditions at any time, with effect for the future. The competitors shall be notified about this at a suitable point.
Except in the case of gross negligence and intent, AvD e.V. and RaceRoom Entertainment GmbH shall not be liable for damages, losses or impairments resulting from the fact that the participant's ability to participate in this promotion is restricted or prevented. AvD e.V. and RaceRoom Entertainment GmbH shall also only be liable for damages, losses or impairments resulting from the participation in this action, acceptance or use of the profit in the event of gross negligence and intent. The liability for damages resulting from injury to life, limb, health or essential contractual obligations and in accordance with the Product Liability Act remains unaffected by the above limitations and exclusions of liability.
Recourse to the courts is not permitted. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies exclusively. In the event of a dispute, AvD e.V.’s registered office is the place of jurisdiction. If any of the abovementioned provisions in these conditions of entry should be ineffective or contain a loophole, the other provisions shall remain unaffected by this. Ineffective or incomplete provisions shall be maintained with effective content which comes as close as possible to reflecting the sense of the ineffective content.
By participating, the user automatically accepts the conditions of entry.
